Art / Event PR:
“A true international star.”
This is the life story of a true fighter. He grew up in the difficult conditions of the war, and although he was initially a highly lauded actor in East Germany, he was subsequently ignored and emigrated to West Germany before finally starting over in the US. “It is an unbelievable fight just to survive at all,” says Armin Mueller-Stahl. For the way he portraits his characters, this means: “I want to see these fights on somebody’s face, because everybody has to fight these fights, attractive or not.”
The two-time Oscar nominated film star has now become a celebrated painter.
hesse und hallermann handled the press work for Armin Mueller-Stahl’s exhibitions in Hamburg in 2012 and in Dresden in 2014, organising press tours and supporting the artist during interviews. His most recent exhibition at the Walentowski Gallery opened with a tribute paid to him by the former Minister-President of Schleswig-Holstein, Björn Engholm, and under the patronage of Daniela Schadt, partner of the German Federal President Joachim Gauck.
